摘要
为探析“美国工业设计教母”贝莉·科根与同时代男性设计师的工业设计制品差异,探究其历史贡献及社会影响。文章运用对比分析法,对20世纪30-70年代贝莉·科根及同时代男性工业设计师作品在样式、色彩以及材料方面进行对比分析。贝莉·科根对设计制品进行了性别差异化的设计革新,提升了女性消费者的认知与体验。贝莉·科根在推进工业设计师职业化发展等方面做出了重要贡献。学界对于女性设计师们的历史贡献应予以平等尊重。
In order to explore the differences of industrial design products between "American industrial design godmother" Belle Kogan and contemporary male designers,and explore her historical contribution and social impact.This paper makes a comparative analysis of the styles,colors and materials of the works of Belle Kogan and contemporary male industrial designers from the 1930 s to the 1970 s.Belle Kogan has carried out gender differentiated design innovation on design products,which has improved the cognition and experience of female consumers.Belle Kogan has made great contributions in promoting the development of industrial designers’ professionalism.The academic circles should respect the historical contributions of female designers equally.
