The spirit of social criticism is an important spiritual characteristic of college teachers. College teachers possess profound knowledge and shoulder the responsibility to pursue truth, beauty and social development. Due to the influence of many factors, such as the market economy, the trend of cultural diversification and the change of knowledge nature and structure, the social critical spirit of college teachers get in a dilemma of becoming increasingly weak in reality. We can integrate Marxist critical view into the whole process of cultivating social critical spirit, consolidate the advanced knowledge of university teachers and strengthen the moral construction of college teachers, so as to promote the cultivation of social critical spirit of college teachers.
