Targeted poverty alleviation is a top-level strategy of China to eradicate poverty.Women are the main group of poverty,and women poverty alleviation is a strategic focus of the work.Introducing gender issue into the study of poverty alleviation and analyzing it from gender perspective is conducive to expanding and deepening the theoretical connotation,and consolidating and strengthening the policy effectiveness.Women are closely linked to poverty,and in relevant theoretical study and practice,intensifying the studies on women and making gender-sensitive poverty alleviation strategies can accurately identify the causes of women poverty,and establish a long-term mechanism to prevent them from returning to poverty again.As far as the strategy is concerned,taking gender issue into consideration in the process of targeted poverty alleviation can help us grasp its exact connotation;at the tactical level,it is necessary to integrate gender awareness into the formulation of strategic principles and the implementation of policies in view of the particularity of women poverty alleviation.
