摘要
先秦文献中联绵词大量涌现,其在使用过程中产生演变。本文从《诗经·东山》“蜎蜎者蠋”出发,考证“蜎蜎”及其相关联绵词。认为“蜎蜎”为小虫蠕动的样子,后可写成“蜿蜿”“蜿蜒”“委蛇”,引申出游动貌、柔顺、委婉等义。
A large number of Lian-mian words appeared in pre-Qin documents and continued to evolve.This article starts from The Book of Songs·Dongshan,“蜎蜎者蠋”,and textualizes“蜎蜎”and its related words.We think of“蜎蜎”as the worm's wriggling appearance,which can later be written as“wanwan(蜿蜿)”,“wanyan(蜿蜒)”and“weiyi(委蛇)”,extending the meaning of swimming,softness,and euphemism.
