To ensure the safety of normal low-pressure storage tanks,it is usually necessary to set up certain safety accessories in light of service conditions and medium characteristics.Among them,the pressure relief device is the last barrier preventing overpressure of the storage tank,which makes its importance self-evident,and makes reasonable selection of pressure relief device highly critical.This paper introduces the calculation method for the required discharge amount of storage tank,the typical pressure relief devices as well as the matters needing attention when selecting respective pressure relief devices.
