“ManSheng pot”has an outstanding position in the development of zisha pot,which has opened a new era of literati pot.The“introduction of books into teaports”of Chen ManSheng endowed them with the cultural taste of elegance and appreciation.Books and teapots are similar in shape,showing the ladder type with narrow upper and wide lower,similar in style and pursuing calm and reserved.“ManSheng book”and“ManSheng pot”can be described as a combination of excellence and ink-sea teapots.The reason behind the realization of communication and integration between books and POTS lies in Chen ManSheng’s design thinking based on“image”,which can be summed up into four levels:“shang Xiang”,“Expressing ideas”,“materialization”and“harmony”.The deep excavation of the design concept of“ManSheng pot”will inspire contemporary design to embark on a healthy path of returning to tradition,imitating nature and integrating multiple elements.
