On Tao in Chinese Traditional Thoughts and Western Philosophy

道在中西方哲学思想的发展历程中具有重要意义,本文从道的语义、中西方哲学思想对道的不同阐释、中国传统思想中道的伦理特征、西方哲学中道的逻辑和宗教特征等四个方面进行分析和比较,揭示道在中西方哲学思想中的主题、内涵、思想形态及各自特征。

Tao plays an important role and is significant in the development of Chinese traditional thoughts and Western philosophy.This paper explains,from the following four aspects,Tao’s semantics understanding,Tao’s different interpretations in Chinese traditional thoughts and Western philosophies,Tao’s ethical characteristics in Chinese traditional thought,and Tao’s logic and religious characteristics in western philosophy,so as to reveal its theme,connotation,ideological form and characteristics in both Chinese traditional thoughts and western philosophy.
