The Basic Experience of Ideological Construction in Colleges and Universities Since the Founding of New China

新中国成立以来,高校意识形态建设在探索、实践和创新中不断得到强化和改进,主要经历了以下四个阶段:1949年至1956年初步形成时期、1956年至1977年曲折发展时期、1978年至2012年恢复与重建时期、十八大以来全面发展新时期。通过新中国成立以来高校意识形态建设的历程可见,只有坚持党对高校意识形态建设的全面领导,巩固马克思主义的统领地位,坚持社会主义的正确方向,加强思想政治理论课教学建设与学科建设,才能更快更好地办好中国特色世界一流大学。

Since the founding of New China,the ideological construction of colleges and universities has been continuously strengthened and improved in exploration,practice and innovation.It has mainly experienced the following four stages:the initial formation period from 1949 to 1956,the tortuous development period from 1956 to 1977,the recovery and reconstruction period from 1978 to 2012,and the new period of comprehensive development since the 18th CPC National Congress.Through the course of ideological construction in colleges and universities since the founding of New China,it can be seen that only by adhering to the party’s overall leadership of ideological construction in colleges and universities,consolidating the leading position of Marxism,adhering to the correct direction of socialism,and strengthening the teaching and discipline construction of ideological and political theory courses,can we run a world-class university with Chinese characteristics faster and better.
