摘要
新闻语篇在一定程度上会表征媒体机构隐藏着的意识形态。从认知语言学角度对新闻语篇进行转喻研究可进一步揭示新闻语篇的内部机制和作用。本问以概念整合理论为框架,以西方主流媒体对英国的脱欧报道为研究样本,对脱欧新闻语篇中的转喻进行定性研究。通过分析整体与部分转喻、构成转喻、范畴与特征等转喻模式在新闻语篇中的使用情况,本研究总结了基于概念整合理论的动态认知转喻结构,为有效解读西方媒体报道中的观点提供理论支持。
News discourse represents the hidden ideology of media organizations in some way.Its mechanism and function can be further revealed by metonymy from the perspective of cognitive linguistics.Based on the Conceptual Blending Theory,this paper investigated the English Brexit reports from three mainstream periodicals with a qualitative method.Through exploring the usage of whole-part ICM,constitute ICM,category-property ICM etc.,the paper summarized the dynamic structure of conceptual metonymy.It is hoped that this study can provide insights into the exploration of essential opinions of news discourse reported by the western media.
