晚清回族名儒薛时雨手札三通考释

A Textual Examination and Interpretation of“San Tong Shou Zha”of Famous Hui Confucian Xue Shiyu in the Late Qing Dynasty

晚清回族名儒薛时雨在道德功业、诗词文章、培育后进等方面均颇有建树。本文所揭薛时雨手札三通,受札人谭献、张预、陈豪、许诵禾均为薛时雨掌教杭州崇文书院时的授业弟子。经考证,此三通手札最早作于同治九年,最晚作于光绪元年,为研究薛时雨与其弟子交往,薛、谭等人的生平以及晚清浙江士人赴京参加会试的情状,晚清时期回、汉民族的交往交流交融,提供了不可多得的丰富史料。

Xue Shiyu,a famous Hui Confucian in the late Qing Dynasty,made great achievements in self-cultivation,poetry,and later generation education,etc.The recipients of Xue Shiyu’s"San Tong Shou Zha"(personal letters),including Tan Xian,Zhang Yu,Chen Hao and Xu Songhe,were all Xue Shiyu’s disciples when he was in charge of the teaching of Hangzhou Chongwen Academy of Classical Learning.This textual research shows that the earliest letter in"San Tong Shou Zha"was written the ninth year of Tongzhi and the latest in the first year of Guangxu,which provides rare and rich historical materials for the study of Xue Shiyu’s communication with his disciples,the life of Xue and Tan,the situation of Zhejiang scholars going to the capital to take the imperial examination,and the fusion of Hui and Han nationalities in the late Qing Dynasty.
