广东乡镇地名的语源分类及空间分布特征研究

Study on the etymological types and spatial distribution of township name in GuangdongProvince

地名是对地表某一特定地域范围的代称,记录着某一时期该地域内的自然环境与人文景观.以广东省21个市共1581个乡镇地名为研究对象,运用历史文献法、数理统计法、Arc GIS的邻近度分析法,对广东省乡镇地名的命名及空间分布规律进行分析.发现广东省地名密度与人口密度在分布上存在一定的正相关关系;在地理类地名里,地形类地名多分布在山岭岗地及沙洲岛屿之上,水文类地名主要分布在水域、海岸附近,方位类地名因多用以指示方向所以分布较为均衡;在人事类地名中,祥愿类地名体现了中国人由古至今对安居乐业、健康平安的美好期盼;经济类地名与河流水系的分布存在一定关联性,解释了广东人"以水为财"的观念由来.

Placename is the name of a specific geographical area on the surface of the earth,recording the natural environment and cultural landscape in the region in a certain period.Takes 1581 township names in 21 cities in Guangdong Province as the research object,and analyzes the naming and spatial differentiation rules of township name by using historical document,mathematical statistics and ArcGIS proximity analysis method.The conclusions are following,there is a positive correlation between the density of place name and the population densityin Guangdong Province.Among geographical place name,topographic place names are mostly distributed on mountain ridges and sandbanks.Hydrological place names are mainly distributed near water areas and coasts.Azimuth place names are more evenly distributed because they are mostly used to indicate directions.Among humanistic place name,the auspicious place names reflect the Chinese people′s wish to live and work happily,healthy and safe since ancient times.There is a certain correlation between economic place name and the distribution of river,which explains the origin of the concept of taking water as wealth.
