网络疫情词汇与讲好中国故事:翻译的视角

Pandemic Related Internet Words and Telling Chinese Stories:a Translation Perspective

讲好中国故事是推进构建人类命运共同体的思想基础,中国政府对新冠疫情的成功治理经验更需要以合适的话语方式传递给世界,翻译在中国故事的讲解中扮演重要角色,尤其是对疫情期间涌现的网络词汇的把握。本文梳理了疫情期间流行网络词汇的主要来源,通过对网络新词的构词特点分析,提出了相应的翻译策略,并结合打造人类卫生健康共同体的目标需求,提出了网络疫情词汇翻译的三大原则,探寻对外传播中国故事的有效途径。

Telling the Chinese story well is the ideological basis for advancing the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.The successful experience of Chinese government’s campaign in fight novel corona virus needs to be conveyed to the world in an appropriate way.Translation plays an important role in the interpretation of Chinese stories,especially in dealing with the emerging Internet vocabularies during the pandemic.This article sorts out the main sources of popular online vocabularies during the special period.Through the analysis of lexical formation characteristics of new online words,the corresponding translation strategy is proposed,and combined with the goal of building a global community of health for all.Three major translation principles of Internet vocabularies are introduced in aims of exploring effective ways to spread Chinese stories to the outside world.
