Qingdao takes science and technology self-reliance and selfimprovement as strategic support for development,deeply understands the historical significance and profound characteristics of the national strategies,actively creates a comprehen sive national science center,and enhances the city’s scientific and technological innovation capacity.It focuses on building advantageous industries,cultivates world-class innovative industrial clusters,vigorously develops science and technology services,creates International innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems,and build s an international innovative city,which will provide strong scientific and technological support for Qingdao to become an open,modern,dynamic and fashionable international metropolis.Through five years’development,Qingdao aims to be an important national science and technology innovation base in the north of the Yangtze River,a powerhouse of high-quality development in the Yellow River basin,a preferred place for innovation and entrepreneurship along the Belt and Road,and a national innovation model city with distinctive international characteristics.
