新时代中国特色社会主义是中国共产党领导人民进行新民主主义革命、社会主义革命和建设以及改革开放的伟大社会革命的成果和继续,伟大社会革命奠定了新时代中国特色社会主义的历史基础,新时代中国特色社会主义开拓出伟大社会革命的新境界。新时代的伟大社会革命并没有结束,而是获得了新的形式、内容和任务,成为新时代中国特色社会主义发展的内在要求和必经之路。将新时代中国特色社会主义纳入到中国共产党领导的伟大社会革命历程中去把握,有助于我们以更加科学的方法论理解新时代中国特色社会主义,为党的自我革命、推进党的建设的伟大工程注入不竭动力,为推进新时代中国特色社会主义凝聚广泛的社会力量。

Socialism with Chinese characteristics for the new era is the result and continuation of the great social revolution led by the Communist Party of China in carrying out the new democratic revolution,socialist revolu⁃tion and construction,and reform and opening up.The great social revolution has laid the historical foundation of socialism with Chinese characteristics for the new era and pioneered socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.The great social revolution in the new era has not ended,but has acquired new forms,contents and tasks,becoming the inherent requirement and an inevitable way for the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.Bringing socialism with Chinese characteristics for the new era into the great social revolutionary process led by the Communist Party of China will help us understand socialism with Chinese char⁃acteristics for the new era by a more scientific methodology,and inject inexhaustible impetus into the great proj⁃ect of self-revolution and building the Party,as well as combining a wide range of social forces to promote social⁃ism with Chinese characteristic.
