民族精神作为社会意识,是鄂伦春民族社会存在的反映。鄂伦春族的民族精神就其源起而言,与鄂伦春族的神话传说、地理环境、狩猎经济、社会历史条件等密切相关。鄂伦春族的民族精神,是促进鄂伦春族全面发展的强大精神支柱之一。每一个民族都有其民族精神,鄂伦春族的民族精神是中华民族精神的一部分,国家的发展繁荣,离不开中华民族精神的弘扬和坚守。但每个民族的民族精神内涵略有不同,鄂伦春族的民族精神表现为自由精神、务实精神、英雄精神和善于学习的精神。

National spirit,as the social consciousness,can refl ect the social existence of the Oroqen nationality.For its origin,the national spirit of Oroqen nationality is closely related to its myths and legends,geographical environment,hunting economy,social and historical conditions and so on.Oroqen national spirit is one of the powerful spiritual pillars to promote the overall development of the nationality.Every ethnic group has its own national spirit,and the national spirit of Oroqen is a part of the Chinese national spirit.The development and prosperity of a country cannot be separated from the promotion and adherence of Chinese national spirits;however,the connotation of national spirit of each nationality is slightly different from each other.The national spirit of Oroqen nationality is manifested as free spirit,pragmatic spirit,heroic spirit and the spirit of being good at learning.
