Objective To investigate the effect of micro video in ICU in family members of patients discharged from hospital with tracheal tube. Methods 100 family members of discharged patients with tracheal tube from September 2018 to September 2020 were included in this study. They were randomly divided into control group and experimental group, each group included 50 cases. The control group was given routine health education and follow-up.The experimental group was also given continuous nursing on the basis in the routine health education. The experimental group summarized the common problems faced by patients after discharge, developed and applied micro video to implement health education. The related knowledge rate of tracheal tube, the nursing accuracy of tracheal tube, and the incidence of tract related complications related to tracheal tube were compared between the two groups. Results The related knowledge rate and accuracy of tracheal tube nursing in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the incidence of tract related complications related to tracheal tube was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of micro video in health education can effectively improve the nursing level of family members of patients discharged from hospital with tracheal tube, and improve the safety of patients with tracheal tube during the period.
