Comparative Study and Enlightenment on the Financial Independence of the Central Bank

党的十九届五中全会提出“建设现代中央银行制度”,为新时代中央银行工作指明了方向,也是应对国际中央银行制度演变挑战的必然要求。纵观发展历程,许多国家在改进中央银行制度的过程中都将强化中央银行财务独立性作为重要内容。我们将G20国家(组织)中央银行财务独立性特征及表现形式作比较,立足国情,探索增强人民银行财务独立性的有效路径。

The Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee put forward the concept of"building a modern central banking system",which pointed out the direction for the work of central banks in the new era and was also an inevitable requirement to meet the challenges of the evolution of the international central banking system.Throughout the course of development,many countries in the process of improving the central bank system will strengthen the financial independence of the central bank as an important content.We will compare the characteristics and manifestations of the financial independence of the central banks of G20 countries(organizations),and explore effective ways to enhance the financial independence of the People's Bank based on the national conditions.
