Study on material selection and application of liquefiednatural gas vaporizer

LNG气化器是LNG接收站高压气化外输区的核心设备,长期被国外技术垄断,气化器的选材研究是开展国产化攻关的重要环节。中间介质式气化器(IFV)、开架式气化器(ORV)和浸没燃烧式气化器(SCV)是国内LNG接收站最常见的三种气化器,通过对LNG气化器关键部件材料进行化学成分、机械性能和试验检验的研究,综合比选不同牌号的钛合金、铝合金和不锈钢材料,结合研究结果确定最优LNG气化器选材方案。对LNG气化器选材的应用研究,可为后续低温设备国产化和新型LNG气化器的设计、开发提供参考。

LNG vaporizer is the core equipment of the high-pressure gasification export facilities in LNG terminals,which has been monopolized by foreign technology for a long time.The study on the material selection of vaporizers is a critical step in enabling local design and production of the vaporizers.Intermediate fluid vaporizer(IFV),open rack vaporizer(ORV)and submerged combustion vaporizer(SCV)are the three most common vaporizers in LNG terminals in China.The chemical composition,mechanical properties and inspection tests of the materials of the key components of the vaporizers are studied,and titanium alloys,aluminium alloys,along with stainless steel materials from different domestic manufacturers are compared and selection is done in a comprehensive manner,so as to determine the optimal material selection plan.This paper presents the study on material selection and manufacturing of LNG vaporizers,to be used as a reference for further work on locally produced low temperature equipment,and for the design and development of new generation of LNG vaporizers.
