You and I don’t Live on the Same Planet

台北双年展是台北市立美术馆策办的旗舰展览,首届双年展于1998年开幕。2018年“后自然”台北双年展将美术馆当成一个生态系,藉此探索“人”与“非人”之间的交引缠绕,以及“非人”把“人”去殖民化的过程。2020双年展检视2018年展览引发的意涵,并进一步研究这些议题,以探索当前的分歧,试着想像并塑造“在地”存在模式的可能方向。此次双年展由法国哲学家布鲁诺·拉图(Bruno Latour)与法国独立策展人马汀·圭纳(Martin Guinard)共同策展。《当代美术家》对话策展人马汀·圭纳,就展览主题、策展理念等话题进行了探讨。

The Taipei Biennial is the most important exhibition held by Taipei Fine Arts Museum once every two years since 1998.The 2018 edition of the Taipei Biennial,“Post Nature”,took the museum as an ecosystem,and allowed the exploration of the entanglement of humans and non-humans and thereby an exploration of the process of decolonization of the former by the latter.The 2020 edition aims to investigate these issues further by looking at the implications of the 2018 event in order to explore the current divergences and to try imagining and shaping what could be the direction toward a“terrestrial”mode of existence.This Biennial is co-curated by French philosopher Bruno Latour and independent curator Martin Guinard.Contemporary Artists interviewed Martin Guinard to discuss the theme and curatorial concept of this biennial.
