我国行业特色型大学的产生和发展经历了以人才培养、科学研究和社会服务为重点职能的发展阶段,为行业和社会服务是其产生和发展的直接推动力和办学根本。特别在当今“双一流”建设背景下,围绕社会服务职能进行多元化发展成为行业特色型大学新时代主要的职能定位和发展优势。目前,我国行业特色型大学在职能定位、评价机制、内部管理等方面存在不同程度的问题,导致其未能在职能上真正实现围绕社会服务的多元化发展。因此,可以从为社会服务、建立多维度分类评价机制和创新规范治理的角度入手,合理定位学校职能,充分发挥三大职能的传统和优势,助推高校发展和多元化高等教育体系形成。

With the emergence and development of industry-featured universities in China, they have experienced the functional development stage with the focus on talent training, scientific research and social service. Serving the industry and the society is the direct driving force for the generation and development of industry-featured universities and the fundamental root of running schools. Especially under the background of "double first-class" construction, the characteristics of close connection with the industry make the diversified development of social service functions an important function orientation and development advantage of industry-featured universities in the new era. At present, China′s industry-featured universities have different degrees of problems in their functional orientation, evaluation mechanism and internal management, resulting in their failure to truly realize diversified development around social services in their functions. From the perspective of adhering to the mission of serving the society, establishing a multi-dimensional classified evaluation mechanism and innovating standard governance, we can rationally position the functions of schools, give full play to the traditions and advantages of the three functions, and effectively promote the first-class development of schools and the formation of a diversified national higher education system.
