20世纪60年代后,美国和苏联都认识到现代建筑的发展面临一个"死胡同",受后现代主义哲学思潮的影响,后现代主义建筑思潮兴起,探索了现代建筑新的发展方向及表现形式,美苏两个大国进行了一系列的实践尝试。该文基于后现代主义建筑思潮的背景和发展研究,对比分析了不同意识形态影响下美国和苏联的后现代主义建筑设计案例,归纳两者不同的发展路径和设计手法,反思后现代主义建筑的价值和出现意义。

After the 1960s,both the United States and the Soviet Union realized that the development of modern architecture had entered a"dead end".Influenced by the post-modernism philosophy,the post-modernism architectural thought rose.They explored the new development direction and manifestation of modern architecture and made a series of practical attempts.Based on the the background and development of post-modern architectural thoughts,we compare and analyze the postmodern architectural design cases of the United States and the Soviet Union under the influence of different ideologies,then we sum up their different development paths and design techniques,and reflect on the value and significance of postmodern architecture.
