The Reform of Architectural Teaching Course Based on Design Research

我国建筑教育在"布扎"的传统美术学院教学体系之后,正经历着教什么和怎么教的困顿,有必要梳理建筑设计教学的发展历程和趋势,探讨新的教学尝试。南京工业大学建筑学二年级通过基于综合与分析的研究型课程设计来培养学生的设计素养,这是从问题导向的任务书开始,到启发式的教学过程和形成综合性设计成果的研究型教学实践,它弥补了以建筑功能和类型来预设题目的部分不足,促使学生在学习中通过对设计问题进行系统性认知,进而补充和完善设计任务书,再针对具体而完整的任务要求开展设计学习,这种教学改革和实践是在设计研究视角下的研究型建筑设计教学的一次有意义的探索。

After the Beaux-Arts method,there is a confusion of what and how to teach in architectural education in China.It is necessary to sort out the development process of design teaching and attempt to teach with novel methods.A studio work of second-year undergraduate from Nanjing Tech University is examined to nurture students through the research-oriented curriculum design based on synthesis and analysis.This practice of design research based on an open design task book,the heuristic teaching practice and comprehensive result,can make up the inadequacy of traditional architectural education,which urges students to supplement design task by systematically recognizing the design in their studies,and then to carry out design learning for specific and complete task requirements.This teaching reform and practice is a meaningful exploration of architectural design teaching based on design research.
