In recent years,the relationship between digital technology and new forms of literature has aroused heated discussion.On the one hand,the formal features of digital literature,such as nonlinear narrative,unstable structure,reader participation,and multimediality,have been regarded as challenges to traditional literary theory and literary aesthetics.On the other hand,the intrinsic characteristics of digital literature offer new research perspectives.For example,programming functions,digital codes,and computer algorithms are regarded as forming a new aesthetic basis and aesthetic categories.At the same time,the Internet and virtual reality creates a new media ecology for digital literature,turning AI creation,human-computer interaction,virtual situation,and immersive experience into new forms of digital literature.
