As an important channel and specialized consultative body of socialist deliberative democracy,the CPPCC is an important part of the national governance system and an important starting point for realizing the modernization of national governance.Starting from the self-attribute of the CPPCC,the"special consultative body"embodies the inclusiveness of the CPPCC as a United Front,its political nature as a multi-party cooperation and political consultation institution,the People's character as an important form of people's democracy.It is precisely because the CPPCC has the inherent attribute of a special consultative body that it has a natural and inseparable connection with national governance since its establishment,and plays a distinct organizational,institutional and functional role in national governance.In the new era,in order to fully realize the unique advantages of the specialized consultative institutions of the CPPCC in national governance,efforts should be made to improve the system,to build the team of members,toput forward the construction of specialized committees,to make special studies and to improve the ability of making suggestions and policy propositions.
