2021 is the first year of the“14th Five-Year Plan”.Confucius Institutes steps into a new stage of high-quality development.Helping to build a more developed,inclusive and standardized international Chinese education system has become the logical main line of Confucius Institute construction in the new era.The integrity of the construction of Confucius Institute is to adhere to the original purpose and mission of the Confucius Institute,strictly stick to the principles of Chinese education,culture communication,executing of the national strategies,and the peaceful development;innovation is to satisfy the multi-level and diverse requirements of international Chinese education in the new era,comprehensively deepen reform,achieve safe,intelligent,and integrated development,and continue to explore and innovate in terms of educational philosophy and model,cooperation subjects,and service mechanism to fulfill the new mission of the times.Integrity is the foundation of innovation,and innovation is an extension of integrity.Integrity and innovation are complementary to each other but has its own focuses.In the new era,the construction of Confucius Institutes should adhere to both integrity and innovation,and achieve healthy and sustainable development.
