CPC Military Guiding Principles in the Past Century:An Innovative Development History

军事工作是党的重要工作。党的军事指导理论是党的指导理论的“军事篇”。中国共产党在领导中国革命战争、国防和军队建设的长期实践中,坚持把马克思主义基本原理同中国革命战争和人民军队建设实践相结合,创造了具有中国特色的马克思主义军事理论成果——毛泽东军事思想、邓小平新时期军队建设思想、江泽民国防和军队建设思想、胡锦涛国防和军队建设思想以及习近平强军思想。回顾党的军事指导理论百年创新发展的历史进程,值得汲取的经验至少有五个方面:一是注重实践,重视理论,坚持理论和实践相统一;二是立足中国,关注世界,坚持中国和世界相统一;三是着眼发展,与时俱进,坚持继承和创新相统一;四是相信群众,依靠群众,坚持群众创造和总结升华相统一;五是敢于斗争,敢于胜利,坚持革命精神和科学态度相统一。这些历史经验对于建设世界一流军队、在富国强军中实现中华民族的伟大复兴,仍将具有重大的现实指导意义。

In the long-term practice of leading China’s revolutionary war,national defense and army building,the Communist Party of China(CPC)insisted on combining the basic principles of Marxism with the practice of Chinese revolutionary war and people’s armed forces building,and created a Marxist military theory with Chinese characteristics-Mao Zedong’s military thought,Deng Xiaoping’s army building thought in the new period,Jiang Zemin’s national defense and army building thought,Hu Jintao’s national defense and army building thought,and Xi Jinping’s thought of strengthening the army.This paper reviews the histori-cal experiences of the innovative development of CPC military guiding principles in the past century.First,CPC attaches importance to both practice and theory,and adheres to the unity of theory and practice.Second,it bases itself on China’s reality,meanwhile pays attention to global situation,and adheres to the unity of China and the world.Third,it focuses on development and keeps pace with the times,and adheres to the unity of inheritance and innovation.Fourth,it believes in and relies on the masses,and adheres to the unity of mass creation and sublimation of practical experiences.Fifth,it has the courage to fight to win,and adheres to the unity of revolutionary spirit and scientific attitude.These historical experiences still have great practical guiding significance for building a prosperous country and a strong world-class army and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
