The Layout Planning and Site Selection of Factories in the Early Modern China

中国近代早期工业建筑是中国建筑近代化转型的重要例证,其厂区布局规划及选址建设是中国近代建筑技术史的重要组成。通过对中国近代早期军事工厂在布局规划、选址设计、总平布置、厂区建设等方面的梳理和归纳,发现其在布局规划方面具有宏观、中观、微观三个层面的特征,即规划建设理论缺乏导致过程控制不力,地点选择受交通运输影响极大,厂区具体选址和厂区布置受制于技术合理、经济适用、传统观念、礼制秩序等多重因素。

Early industrial architecture in modern China is an important example of the modern transformation of Chinese architecture,and its layout planning and site selection are important components of the history of modern Chinese architectural technology.Through investigating the layout planning,site selection design,general layout and plant construction of military factories in early modern China,it finds that the layout planning has respective characteristics at macro,meso and micro levels,the lack of planning and construction theory leads to poor process control,location selection is greatly affected by transportation,and the specific site selection and layout of the plant area are subject to multiple factors such as reasonable technology,economic applicability,traditional concept and the Confucian order.
