植物甾醇的生理功能及在动物生产中的应用

植物甾醇是以环戊全氢菲为骨架的3羟基化合物,是结构与胆固醇相似的一类活性物质。植物甾醇以游离态、酯化态及糖苷的形式存在于植物细胞膜上。植物甾醇具有降低胆固醇、抗氧化、预防心血管疾病等作用。应用于动物生产中,植物甾醇可以促进畜禽生长,提升畜产品品质。文章针对植物甾醇生物功能及其在动物生产中的应用进行综述,为植物甾醇在动物生产中的应用提供参考。

Phytosterols are 3-hydroxy compounds with the structure of cyclopentane-phenanthrene, which are similar to cholesterol in structure and exist on plant cell membrane in free state, esterified state and glycoside. Phytosterols have the functions of lowering cholesterol, anti-oxidation and preventing cardiovascular diseases. In animal production,phytosterols can promote the growth of livestock and poultry and improve the quality of livestock products. The article reviews the biological functions of phytosterols and their application in animal production, and provides references for the application of phytosterols in animal production.
