云南迪庆的民主改革及对新时代民族工作的意义

On the Campaign of Democratic Reform in Diqing and Its Implication for Current Ethnic Work

20世纪中叶,云南迪庆按照中央的指示开展民主改革,这是中国共产党在新政权建立背景下结合迪庆实际所做出的正确抉择,也是党的民族思想及民族政策在中观层面的重大实践。作为一场重要的社会运动,民主改革彻底推翻了迪庆的封建统治,变革了生产关系,实现了该地区的繁荣与发展。其政策设计、制度安排、舆论引导、务实作风等民族工作实践,强化了迪庆各民族对党和国家的热爱和认同,是党的民族工作的重大成果。深刻总结和思考迪庆民主改革的经验,对于以铸牢中华民族共同体意识为主线的新时代民族工作仍具有重要的意义。

In the middle of the 20th century,a campaign of democratic reform was carried out in Diqing of Yunnan in accordance with the instructions of the Central Committee.This is the correct choice made by the Communist Party of China on the basis of consideration of the actual situation in Diqing in the context of the establishment of the new regime.It is also a major event of implementing the Party’s thoughts and policy regarding ethic work at the meso level.As an important social campaign,the democratic reform completely overthrew the feudal rule in Diqing and changed the production relations,thus facilitating the prosperity and development of the region.Its practice in ethnic work,such aspolicy design,institutional arrangement,public opinion guidance and so on,which has strengthened the love and recognition of the local ethnic groups for the Party and the country,is truly a major achievement of the Party.Therefore,a thorough review and reflection of Diqing’s experience in democratic reform is still of great significance to the ethnic work in the new era with the cultivation of the snese of community for the Chinese nation as main target.
