Non-destructive Testing of 800 MPa Grade High-strength Steel Weld on the Spiral Case of Wudongde Hydropower Station

金沙江乌东德水电站蜗壳是中国目前大型水电站首次采用800 MPa级高强度钢板制作,对焊接质量要求高。为保证蜗壳焊缝质量,三峡集团制定了严格的焊缝无损检测规定。文章对无损检测要求、现场检测难点及改进建议进行了总结,可为今后类似工程施工提供借鉴。

The Wudongde Hydropower Station on Jinsha River is the first large-scale hydropower station in China adopting 800 MPa high-strength steel plates for the fabrication of spiral case,which requires high welding quality.In order to ensure the quality of the welding welds,the Three Gorges Group has formulated strict non-destructive testing regulations for the welds.The article summarizes the requirements of non-destructive testing,on-site testing challenges and suggestions for improvement,which provides a reference for the construction of similar projects in the future.
