A flowing dream——Study on the Decoration of marbled wares pillow in Tang Dynasty

绞胎是一种独特的制瓷工艺,在唐代开始出现,宋元以后几乎绝迹。绞胎枕作为唐代绞胎器的代表,其装饰内容表现了绞胎工艺的精美,装饰手法反映了唐代制瓷工匠烧造瓷器的高超技艺。本文从唐代绞胎枕的造型和装饰纹样出发,论述其特点及审美要素,以木纹、团花纹、菱花纹等典型绞胎纹饰分析唐人的生活观念,以期了解唐代的审美风尚和社会文化,并且为当代陶艺装饰技法的探索增添方向。

Marbled wares is a unique porcelain making process, which began to appear in the Tang Dynasty and almost disappeared after the song and Yuan Dynasties. As the representative of the Tang Dynasty, the marbled wares pillow’s decoration content shows the exquisite marbled wares technology and the decoration technique reflects the superb skills of the porcelain craftsmen in the Tang Dynasty. Starting from the modeling and decorative patterns of the Tang Dynasty, this paper discusses its characteristics and aesthetic elements, and analyzes the life concept of the Tang people with the typical patterns of wood grain, group pattern and rhombic pattern, so as to understand the aesthetic fashion and social culture of the Tang Dynasty, and add direction for the exploration of contemporary ceramic decoration technology.
