论中医学概念“不舍象”特点的理据

Discussion on the rationale of ‘not giving up the image’ in the concept of traditional Chinese medicine

中医学概念有着突出的"不舍象"特点,立足于民族的传统思维方式和概念意识,从概念不能完全包举事物的所有属性、事物的本质有可"舍象"者又有不可"舍象"者、事物的复杂性使概念不能一次性概括尽净、概念的功能指代与概念自身的运动变化、"言不尽意"与"立象以尽意"、藉"摹略万物之然"达"以名举实"6个方面论述了中医学概念"不舍象"特点的理据。在此基础上,进一步对该特点的合理性、与抽象的关系做出简单说明,并指出其对于中医学概念规范化工作以及中医学与概念论的未来发展的意义。

The concept of Chinese medicine has a prominent feature of ‘not giving up the image’. It is based on the traditional thinking mode and conceptual consciousness of the nation. The concept cannot fully cover all the attributes of things and the essence of things, ‘give up the image’ and the complexity of things make it impossible for concepts to be summed up all at once, the functional reference of the concept and the movement of the concept itself, ‘not expressing the meaning’ and ‘building the image to express the meaning’, and borrowing the rationale for the characteristics of the concept of ‘not giving up the image’ of Chinese medicine is discussed in six aspects, including ‘the naturalness of everything’. On this basis, a brief explanation of the rationality of this feature and the relationship with abstraction are further made, and its significance for the standardization of TCM concepts and the future development of TCM and conceptual theory is pointed out.
