Beijing +25: Review and Prospects

从民间社会的角度出发,对北京第四次世界妇女大会的成就、影响及前景展开分析。第四次世界妇女大会召开后,妇女事业在教育方面所取得的进展最为可观,而在妇女就业、政治参与、医疗健康领域的发展则喜忧参半。纵观欧盟各国,可以发现,北京第四次世界妇女大会对许多国家及公众所产生的积极影响一直延续至今。妇女权利的贯彻落实既非自动化的,也非线性发展的,而是时有进步之成就,时有退步之不足,在不同国家及文化中也各有不同,且常常呈现出矛盾性。在第四次世界妇女大会十周年纪念活动“北京+10”会议召开时已经可以看出,议程议题与妇女运动已发生显著变化。为此,有必要继续团结一致,通力合作,推进妇女事业进一步发展。

This paper analyzes the achievements,impacts,and current perspectives on the Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing,mainly from the perspective of civil society.After the Fourth World Conference on Women,women's rights,gender equality,and social justice have all faced tremendous pressure.The most significant progress for women has been made in education,while achievements in women's employment,political participation,and health care have been mixed.Looking across the EU,it is clear that the positive impact of the Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing on many countries and the public has continued to this day.The implementation of women's rights has been neither automatic nor linear,but has been a mixture of progress and regression,varying from country to country and culture to culture.At the time of the Beijing+10 Conference for the 10th anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women,it was already clear that the issue areas of and the women's movement itself had changed significantly.For this reason,it is necessary to continue to work together in solidarity and cooperation to advance the cause of women.
