According to the problems found in the experiment of the drum type divider used in the mechanical sampling and preparation device of a power plant in North China,the disadvantages of the drum type divider used in the mechanical sampling and preparation device are pointed out.At the same time,the method to solve the disadvantages of drum type separator is put forward.
