The History and Experience of“Fights against Epidemics”Led by the Communist Party of China in the Last 100 Years

中国共产党成立百年来,对重大疫情的防疫工作主要经历了土地革命时期、延安时期、新中国成立初期、改革开放时期和十八大以来的新时代五个阶段。在历次战疫的过程中,中国共产党始终坚持统筹全局、依法防控和人民至上的理想信念,凸显了中国社会制度的优越性。中国共产党领导战疫斗争取得的胜利,不仅对人民健康水平的提高、卫生防疫事业的发展有着重要的推动作用,而且也是中华民族实现从站起来、富起来到强起来的精神磨砺。

Since the founding of the Communist Party of China(CPC)100 years ago,the prevention and control of major epidemics has gone through five stages:the Agrarian Revolution period,Yan’an period,the early years of the new China,the reform and opening up period and the new era from the 18th National Congress of the CPC.In all previous fights against epidemics,the CPC always insisted on the ideals and principles of planning as a whole,preventing and controlling epidemics by law and putting people first,which highlighted the superiority of the social system in China.The victory in the struggles against epidemics led by CPC not only greatly contributes to the improvement of people’s health and the evolution of the health and epidemic prevention undertaking,but also tempers the spirit of the Chinese nation to stand up,get rich and become stronger.
