The core course“General Theory of Overseas Chinese Culture”in Wuyi University’s general education curriculum is designed to mine the ideological and political elements in the course and is guided with patriotism and mutual learning of civilizations to serve the university’s grand pattern of ideological and political education.It fulfills the demands of ideological and political work in colleges and universities in the new era and attempts to forge a brand of ideological and political education with its own characteristics.
