A Study on Heilongjiang General during Emperor Yongzheng’s Reign

雍正朝的黑龙江将军们与皇帝之间的关系亲疏远近各不相同,亲有亲近的缘由,疏有疏远的成因。一般说来,君臣关系的亲疏取决于臣子的身份和地位。然而,雍正帝与黑龙江将军们的关系状态却主要取决于将军们的名声、品行和才干。雍正帝对臣工的名声、品行格外关注,这与其治国理政务实性有密切的关联。雍正朝五位黑龙江将军因各自能力不同而展示出各异的治理特色。他们虽在地方治理方面或多或少做了一些实事,但是边政管理有余,开发建设不足。

The relationship between the Heilongjiang generals and the emperor in the Yongzheng Dynasty varied according to their closeness.Generally speaking,the relationship between the monarch and his subjects depends on their status.However,the relationship between Emperor Yongzheng and the Heilongjiang generals was mainly determined by their reputation,conduct and ability.Emperor Yongzheng paid special attention to the reputation and conduct of his officials,which was closely related to the practicality of governing the country.The five Heilongjiang generals in the Yongzheng Dynasty showed different governance characteristics because of their different abilities.Although they have more or less handled some practical matters in local governance,they have too much border management and insufficient development and construction.
