仓修良先生的学术研究,由中国古代史而中国古代史学史,1978年以后进入学术高峰期,著作之路始于《中国古代史学史简编》,出名于浙东史学研究,中国历史文献研究会成就了仓先生的学术圈知名度。在学术特点上,他执着于史学追求,注意将教学与科研相结合,问题意识强,善于寻找新的增长点,擅长新型框架体系建构,个人撰著与集体主编同步,重视作品的完善。仓先生是新中国第一代史学史建设者、第一代方志学建设者、第一代谱牒学建设者。
