金融资源能激励农户的农业劳动供给吗?

Can Financial Resources Encourage Farmers’ Labour Supplyin Agricultural Production?

利用中国健康与养老追踪调查数据,实证分析了金融资源对农户农业劳动供给的激励作用。研究发现,无论农户的个人和家庭特征是否被控制,以正规借贷额为代表的金融资源都能够显著激励户的农业劳动供给,增加其农业生产的劳动时间,激励效应明显。生产要素组合优化效应、债务激励效应是金融资源发挥激励作用的重要机理与体现。生产要素组合优化效应发挥的基础是农户掌握的生产资金相对不足和稀缺,债务激励效应发挥的基础包括乡村社会的熟人属性、信用村建设的连带机制、农户个体的风险厌恶特征等。此外,激励作用的发挥以具备一定水平的体力为前提,在健康与体力存在差异的农户群体中,金融资源的激励作用存在显著异质性,更加显著于具有一定体力但经济资源相对较少的农户。

Based on the data from“China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study”in 2013,we analyze the relation between financial resources and farmers’labour supply in agricultural production.The results indicate that financial resources can significantly encourage farmers’labour supply in agricultural production.The formal borrowing quota will encourage farmers to devote more time to their agricultural production,whether or not the farmer`s personal and family characteristics are under control.Optimizing the combination of agricultural productive factors and realizing the debt’s motivation are the important channel of financial resources encouraging farmers’labour supply in agricultural production.The basis of the“optimizing the combination of agricultural productive factors”effect is that the farmer always doesn’t have sufficient agricultural funds.The basis of the“realizing the debt’s motivation”effect is the credit village microcredit programme,country acquaintance society,farmer’s risk aversion and so on.The encouragement of financial resources is heterogeneous in farmers with different abilities.It is also worth noting that a certain extent ability of work is the basis of the encouragement of financial resources.What’s more,the economic resources they possess or control also make a difference.The encouragement of financial resources to the farmers with a certain extent ability of work and fewer economic resources is more significantly,like the farmers who are with chronic diseases.And the encouragement is not significantly for the disabled farmer.
