论雷锋精神融入公安院校大学英语课程思政

On Integrating the Spirit of Lei Feng into the Ideological and Political Education of College English Teaching in Public Security Colleges

雷锋精神是中华民族的宝贵精神财富,也是新时代鼓舞中国人民砥砺奋进的强大精神力量。公安院校,作为人民警察的摇篮,是传承和践行雷锋精神的重要阵地。在课程思政的大背景下,雷锋精神有必要也有可能融入大学英语课程中。教师应转变意识,提高政治素养,以立德树人为己任,积极探索如何发挥大学英语课程的特点与优势,采用多样又先进的教学手段,在课内课外将雷锋精神潜移默化地融入大学英语,让英语课堂发挥育人功能,为培养合格的人民警察做出应有的贡献。

The spirit of Lei Feng,the treasure of Chinese spirit,is also the spiritual power to stimulate Chinese people to strive ahead in the new era.The public security college,the cradle of people’s police,is the important front to inherit and practice the spirit of Lei Feng.In the national context of integrating ideological and political education,it’s feasible and necessary to integrate the spirit of Lei Feng into college English.College English teachers should reset the educational philosophy and enhance their political accomplishment.They should see it as their duty to strengthen moral education and explore actively on how to play out the characteristic and advantages of college English curriculum.By modern and diverse means of teaching methods,they can teach the students the spirit of Lei Feng both in curricular and extracurricular activities so as to make the English class play a role in the cultivation of qualified police officers.
