南非中小学汉语教学是随着孔子学院和孔子课堂的建立和推广迅速发展起来的,近年来得到南非教育部的政策支持,2015年汉语作为第二附加语被纳入到国家教育体系。根据调查和统计,最近几年南非中小学汉语学习人数已经达到历史高点,将汉语设为必修课的学校增多,汉语教学更具连续性和稳定性。与此同时,南非中小学汉语教学在推广过程中有一些问题值得引起注意,有必要进行深入分析并提出对策。

The Chinese language teaching at schools in South Africa has developed rapidly owing to the establishment and operation of the Confucius Institutes and Confucius Classrooms.In recent years,the Department of Basic Education in South Africa has issued a series of policies to support Chinese teaching.In terms of the investigation and statistics in 2017 and 2018,the number of learners reached its peak.In addition,Chinese classes become compulsory at more schools in 2018 with tremendous increase of students.Despite of the progress in the teaching of Chinese language at schools in South Africa,there are still challenges worthy of attention and deep analysis.
