缅甸竹业及中缅合作展望

Bamboo Industry in Myanmar and Sino-Myanmar Cooperation Prospect

缅甸是东南亚林业大国,尽管近年来森林资源总量下降,但竹资源丰富,发展空间十分巨大,竹产业被列为该国政府发展农村经济的重要方向。但是缅甸竹产业整体开发水平落后,且面临竹材综合利用率不高、产品附加值低及资源浪费严重等问题,亟待以科技为主的全方位提升。中国在竹林经营和产业开发方面经验丰富,但也存在资源短缺、与周边国家交流不足等问题。因此,推动和深化两国竹业合作既有助于提升缅甸竹产业综合实力,也有利于解决我国竹产业纵深发展的某些瓶颈问题。文中通过对缅甸竹子资源和产业的梳理,包括竹子资源与竹林经营、竹子利用与产业发展状况、竹产品国际贸易,提出了中缅竹业合作的初步设想,以期为深化两国林业合作提供借鉴。

Myanmar is a large forestry country in Southeast Asia.Although forest resources have declined in total amount in recent years,there is a huge space for the development of its rich bamboo resources,which is listed by the government as an important direction of rural economic development.However,the bamboo industry in Myanmar is at low development level,and faces the problems such as low comprehensive utilization rate of bamboo,low added value of products and serious waste of resources.Therefore it is urgent to improve the bamboo industry in an all-round way based on science and technology.China boasts rich experiences in bamboo forest management and industrial development,but there are also problems such as shortage of resources and lack of communication with neighboring countries.Hence,promoting and deepening the bamboo industry cooperation between China and Myanmar will not only help to enhance the comprehensive strength of Myanmar’s bamboo industry,but also help to solve some bottleneck problems in the in-depth development of China’s bamboo industry.Based on the analysis of bamboo resources and industry development in Myanmar,including bamboo resources distribution,bamboo forest management,bamboo utilization and industrial development,and international trade of bamboo products,the paper comes up with the preliminary ideas of bamboo industry cooperation between China and Myanmar,so as to provide references for deepening the forestry cooperation between the two countries.
