高等教育生态是高等教育理论研究中的一个新的研究领域。其中高等教育生态承载力更是一个崭新的视角,它的切入,使高等教育理论有了一个全新的解释。高等教育生态承载力研究起源于高等教育大发展所带来的生态平衡问题,引发从生态的视角对其关注和探讨。高等教育生态承载力,其内涵理解为高等教育生态系统的自我维持、自我调节能力,以及教育资源与环境子系统对具有相应质量标准的发展规模所能承载的供容能力,它是衡量高等教育发展速度和规模的一项重要指标。从生态承载力这一视角来研究高等教育时,必须把握其客观性、可变性和多层次性的特征。运用高等教育生态承载力理论,可以从高等教育系统的生态弹性力、资源和环境承载力、生态承载压力度等三方面对区域高等教育进行测算和评价,从而更好地从宏观上把握高等教育办学规模和质量之间的内在关系。高等教育生态承载力研究,是高等教育理论的一种创新,在理论方法、实践应用、生态评价、人才培养等方面,具有十分重要的学术价值和发展前景。

Higher education ecology is a new research field in theoretical research of higher education,in which the ecological carrying capacity of higher education is a brand-new perspective that gives a new explanation to higher education theory.The research on ecological carrying capacity of higher education originated from the ecological balance problem caused by the extensive development of higher education,which aroused the attention and discussion from the perspective of ecology.The connotation of ecological carrying capacity of higher education is understood as the self-maintenance and self-regulation capacity of higher education ecosystem,as well as the capacity of educational resources and environment subsystem to support the development scale with corresponding quality standards.It is an important index to measure the development speed and scale of higher education.While studying higher education from the perspective of ecological carrying capacity,it is required to grasp its objectivity,variability and multi-level characteristics.By applying the ecological carrying capacity of higher education,it is necessary to measure and evaluate the regional higher education from three aspects:the ecological elasticity of higher education system,the carrying capacity of resources and environment,and the degree of carrying pressure.The insertion of the ecological carrying capacity into higher education research can better grasp the internal relationship between the scale and quality of higher education.The research on ecological carrying capacity of higher education is an innovation of higher education theory,which has very important academic value and development prospects in the aspects of theoretical methods,practical application,ecological evaluation,and personnel training.
