On“the Method of Zhebiao”as an Artistic Technique

刘熙载第一次将“遮表法”界定为诗学概念,是对法的一种技巧。如果再结合开合法、流水法、倒挽法,对这四种技法进行阐述论证、举例说明,可揭示出“遮表法”的特点及其表现形式。这四种技法不仅仅是诗歌对法形式,也可以概括章法结构的形式特点,也是章法形式。

The“Method of Zhebiao”,a technique of balanced sentences,was defined for the first time by Liu Xizai as a poetic concept.Combining the“Method of Zhebiao”with the“Method of Kaihe”,the“Method of Liushui”and the“Method of Daowan”together,this article illustrates the four techniques to reveal the characteristics and expressions of the“Method of Zhebiao”.It is believed that these four techniques are not only methods of balanced sentences for poetry,but also constitutional forms which can summarize the characteristics of the constitutional structure.
