许渊冲“三X”翻译思想间的关联性研究

Relevance among Xu Yuanchong’s Thoughts on Translation in Triadic Pattern

许渊冲经常从三个不同的方面或层次对某一翻译现象展开讨论并凝练出相应的翻译思想,因而其大部分翻译思想具有“三位性”的特征。基于许渊冲翻译思想的“三位性”特征,重点分析许渊冲的翻译思想间的关联性。以许渊冲“三X”翻译思想为研究对象,采用概念分析法和比较分析法,旨在探析许渊冲“三X”翻译思想间的关联性和深刻内涵。研究发现:许渊冲“三X”翻译思想间的关联性体现出立体多维、定一而发、一脉相承和梯度对应四个特点。

Xu Yuanchong investigates a certain translation phenomenon from three different aspects or levels and summarizes some corresponding translation thoughts,thus most of his translation thoughts are presented in“triadic pattern”.Based on this feature,this article tries to establish the relevance of Xu Yuanchong’s translation thoughts of the kind.It takes Xu Yuanchong’s thoughts on translation in triadic pattern as as the research object,and adopts the methodology of conceptual analysis and comparative analysis to explore the relevance and profound connotation of Xu Yuanchong’s translation thoughts.It is concluded that the relation between Xu’s thoughts on translation embodies four characteristics:multi-dimension,core-based divergence,succession and gradient correspondence.
