The State-of-the-art and Future Development of Mechanical Face Seal Intelligentization

摘要 机械密封的智能化是装备智能化中不可或缺的关键环节之一,也是有效解决高端装备机械密封现有问题、发展机械密封新功能的迫切需要和战略性发展方向。针对机械密封本身的机理和技术特征,对机械智能化的理念进行了阐述。从智能型机械密封需要具备的感知、分析和行动三个能力维度,综述了机械密封智能化的现有技术手段和面临的困难。在机械密封智能化的未来发展中,尽管增量式设计方法可能更容易取得初步成果,但从长远来看需要突破非智能化条件下的经典结构的限制,采用系统层面的整体设计方法。可以预期,深度交互、高度自治的智能型机械密封将对密封技术进步和装备智能化产生重要价值。 The intelligentization of mechanical face seals plays an infrastructural role in the intelligentization of equipment, and also the strategical solution for the existing requirements and future innovations is developed. Based on the specific physical mechanisms and technical features of mechanical face seals, the concept of mechanical face seal intelligentization is elaborated. By the three capability aspects of perceiving, analyzing and acting, the existing techniques of the mechanical face seals and their dilemmas are reviewed. An incremental design method may have good early agility for the development of intelligent mechanical face seals;however, a systematical design method which goes beyond the traditional design patterns developed without consideration for intelligentization shall perform better in the long term. It can be expect that the intelligent mechanical face seals with deep interactivity and high autonomy will greatly boost the advancement of sealing technology and equipment intelligentization.
