At present,the economy is developing rapidly,China's mechanical design field presents a good development trend.The selection of new materials in mechanical design is related to the quality and use performance of mechanical equipment.Based on this,this paper mainly analyzes and discusses the selection and application of new materials in mechanical design,and puts forward the selection and application strategies of new materials,so as to provide help for the research of mechanical materials selection.
