The funding support is the extension of targeted poverty alleviation in the field of education and it is also the significance of educational poverty alleviation. This paper begins with the significance of carrying out funding support in universities, explores the current challenges in the process of funding support, and proposes the specific suggestions in order to maximize the effectiveness of funding support, promote students’ all-round development, and boost the national strategies in targeted poverty alleviation.
