The Origin and Development of Ritual Ceramic Ware in Song Dynasty

瓷质礼器从宋代开始,取代了商周时期的青铜礼器,成为国事活动中的主要祭祀用品之一。根据宋代官窑和贡窑的产品来看,仿战、汉之前的青铜器所制作的各式陶瓷礼器不胜枚举。一方面体现了宋代崇古尚礼之风的盛行;另一方面也表明该时期制瓷工艺已经达到了较高的水平,可以跨材质模仿不同的器物。随着经济发展和传统观念的改变,陶瓷礼器又逐渐成为文人雅士陶冶情操、美化居室的一种陈设品。

Since the Song Dynasty,ceramic ware has replaced the bronze ware of Shang and Zhou Dynasties and became an important ritual carrier in state affairs.From the products of the official kilns in the Song Dynasty,there are many kinds of ritual porcelain wares patterned on the bronze wares before Warring States Period and Han Dynasty.On the one hand,it reflects the prevalence of the worship of ancient rites in the Song Dynasty.On the other hand,it also shows that the porcelain making technology in the Song Dynasty has reached a high level.With the development of economy and the change of ideas,the ritual porcelain wares in the Song Dynasty gradually became a kind of furnishings for litterateurs to cultivate their taste and decorate their houses.
