The composition of gabapentin is similar to that of r-aminobutyric acid(GABA).It belongs to a kind of 1-(aminomethyl)-cyclohexaneacetic acid drug,which is a synthetic amino acid drug.Gabapentin is a new type of anti-epileptic drug,but it has a partial therapeutic effect on patients with clinical pain.The application of gabapentin in the clinical anti-epileptic treatment and the clinical treatment of chronic pain can obtain better curative effects,especially for patients with partial neuropathic pain,it has significant therapeutic advantages.Moreover,this advantage has prompted gabapentin to gradually become the preferred treatment for clinical neuropathic pain,such as post-herpetic neuralgia,trigeminal neuralgia,and perioperative pain.Based on this,this article will mainly focus on the clinical application of gabapentin.By analyzing the current clinical application progress and adverse reactions of gabapentin.
